I am here to support you on your journey towards greater well-being, resilience, and personal growth. You don't have to face your struggles alone—reach out now to begin your path towards a brighter tomorrow. I work with adults over 18 who need individual counseling to help address daily issues or concerns, develop healthy coping skills, seek personal growth, and suffer from anxiety and/or trauma disorders through Telehealth services (please see Telehealth Addendum for more info).
Services Offered, Theoretical Orientation, and Techniques
I offer trauma-informed, evidence-based individual counseling sessions for adults. While I have a Humanistic Orientation to counseling—a perspective that emphasizes looking at the whole individual and stresses concepts such as free will, self-efficacy, and self-actualization, helping people fulfill their potential and maximize their well-being rather than concentrating on dysfunction—I use several different types of techniques based on the person, the best fit, the case presentation and/or diagnosis, such Internal Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Length Of Sessions, Fees, and Methods of Payment
I currently offer Telehealth sessions—please see this Telehealth Addendum for more information. The first session is an intake session and is meant for assessment, evaluation, and information gathering and will typically last 60 minutes in length. The next few sessions are typically spent developing a treatment plan of goals. Follow-up sessions are typically between 45-50 minutes in length and frequency typically begins with weekly treatment for anxiety and trauma disorders, depending on the individual and the case. I accept contracted rates with insurance companies, who decide what your co-pay or co-insurance is. My fees are as follows:
Initial 60-minute intake: $175
Individual Counseling--45-minute session: $125
Individual Counseling—55-minute session: $150
